They should have left it the way it was before!! The club’s delta with the money and split it according… And as for the dock in St. David’s that’s gone to he.. Growing up I use to jump off that dock (all us kids) now you can’t even take children there due to the drugs alcohol and bad language.. my grandson and some friends went there to go fishing and the guys there made them leave. And you wonder why the youth of today get in trouble!! We’re is the role models? Sitting at the dock…. And not fishing!!

More ECCA bumbling no doubt. Just like the fiasco surrounding the sale of spots. Rest assured people; no heads will roll though for this. These actions have to be the new description for dumb!! Sighs.

So why wasn’t the money taken directly to a Bank night deposit box? Failing that St DCCC has (had?) a safe inside so why wasn’t the money put there until they left to take it to drop in the bank?.

I guess it was considered normal to place that amount of money in a car & leave it unattended. Especially when you consider the car was parked over by the school & not in front of the club where it could be closely monitored. That was also real stroke of genius. SMDH

Mental note – never publicly collect a huge quantity of cash and then in front of an audience leave it in your car. With all these car thefts going on, it was a wonder they didn’t take the car as well.

I’m not perfect, but I could say with certainty that I wouldn’t have left $ in my car! I won a little $500 bingo and before I came home I made an ATM deposit. As a community, we are tired, we have children and this madness has to stop. Get your own job like we all do but of course if your using drugs that would be very hard to do.

Stealing money from a community center is not the way to go and trust me if we know something we will tell something:)

Guys at the dock do get rowdy at times but calm down after while like anywhere else give Mr Roque quite a bit of business 2 the guys sitting on the wall are not harming anybody just biding time and enjoying the cool of the evening and directing traffic around that blind corner going towards the club
why the ECCA says this happened on the club’s property somebody doesnt know the difference between the school and club property the hedge separates them and it didnt happen at the club at all Hold em Warriors

Fishing line , empty/broken beer bottles , rank/rotten bait packages , trash and broken lawn furniture left everywhere not to mention the awful odor of male urine .
Do you clean up after yourselves leaving the public facilities immaculate as though you’ve never been there in the first place ?

I believe ECCA is fully accountable. A few years back they took over of all financial dealings and then they split the money between the teams that play and they take a cut as well. What they do with their cut remains a mystery. I don’t think the clubs should be made to suffer because of ECCA negligence. The theft is unfortunate but nobody leaves that type of money in a damn car.

There has been increased loitering in St. Davids recently. The spots are at the dock down by the Black Horse Tavern, at the top of hill from the Gas Station and the old variety store up past St. Luke’s Church. The majority of people loitering are dealing illegal drugs or using. This would be a good place to start looking:)
