The OBA doesn’t owe one red cent & neither do the PLP, we the the people of Bermuda owe that money, shakes head!! Please do try and keep up.

I’ll grant you the OBA have scored alot of own goals, amateurish at best sometimes. However the PLP didn’t put us in this mess overnight though they sure gave it a good try. It took them several years of mismanagement to do that. Also we all know it takes longer to build things up as opposed to knocking them down, but according to your warped logic because the OBA haven’t turned it around in 2 1/2 years they have failed? Got it. LMAO

By your reckoning we should now fire this New Boss as he has failed Bermuda Inc by creating even more debt & hasn’t miraculously created new revenue streams, all in under 2 1/2 years, right.

So I guess the OBA shouldn’t have borrowed more money as even though the Government has financial obligations that it wouldn’t have been able to meet as they we’re literally broke. I’m sure we could just tell the overseas businesses we deal with that we would give them an IOU so just send us those new buses & parts, the new ferry engines and another things we wanted as we’re good for it! They should’ve just let all Government services stop and send employees home permanently without pay or chance of future employment? Great idea Einstein.

Also it sounds like your remedy for our ills is to put the old boss back in control of the company. What do you expect them to do; create new revenue streams & pay down debt? non of which they did previously, another great idea.

Do you run your own or any business? Don’t bother as I’m sure I already know the answer.

Really, Really… Exactly, the OBA (& the PLP) will be held accountable & or vindicated at the polls. Just as the UBP & later the PLP we’re finally held accountable at the polls. As such you’re & the oppositions attempt to paint everything that happens as a ‘scandal’ will be seen by anyone with their eyes open as an attempt to deflect from their shameful time as Government & now the PLP’s pathetic time as opposition. You’re attempt to deflect onto the OBA is not required nor necessary. We all have memories and most of ours of the PLP are not good, but carry on creating new ones by crying wolf & shouting fire in a cinema, I guarantee you will not like the next trip to the polls anymore than 2012′s.

Then on your own logic you are obviously prepared to admit our government is out of their depth for make no headway with jobs promises and adding more debt in their first 2 years then the PLP did in their first 10… Mr MacLean is not out of his depth. The OBA owes a lot of money (they chose to triple the debt they inherited and didn’t have the foresight to come up with a plan where the island could earn revenue to help pay back the enormous loan they made). They are a desperate party and have been doing stupid things. In my eyes and a lot of other peoples’, the OBA have very little credibility and are not trustworthy.

And yes the PLP screwed things up put us in debt and all the other things that messed up, and anything else you can think of. But the OBA promised the island that they would sort it out, no problem. That was a load of crock.

It sounds so silly when you and your cronies cry like little children as you throw your toys out of the pram- “what about how the PLP did this or that”. Its time to get over that now. Your party has been in power for almost 3 years and have managed to triple the debt with no recourse for paying it off.

Once the old boss has been fired for running the company to the ground, a new boss will be hired. If the new boss can’t turn things around, and puts the company further in debt than anyone had imagined, he will be fired too.

Payroll Tax (which helped IB businesses to let staff go & many to leave)
‘Safety Wall’ – for former Premiere

All these things and more & I’m not even trying. All of which cost taxpayers hundreds of Millions of $$$ & Bermuda to have a less than favourable reputation as a place to do business.

No the PLP screwed up pretty much everything they touched, the evidence is staring us in the face everyday. Besides being accused of some dumb s*&% every month especially by the PLP is hardly a damning indictment now is it?.

Admittedly the OBA aren’t helping themselves much, not with their unerring ability at scoring silly own goals. So with that in mind ‘these Dreamers’ are more likely to screw themselves up rather than Bermuda ala the PLP; big difference.

If Mr. McLean has damning evidence that holds up in a court of law then so be it, those guilty OBA & or PLP Ministers etc should have the full weight of the law thrown at them.

Pity he doesn’t have or won’t release tapes of the meetings from when he was given the Waterfront deal, I bet that would be just as interesting.
