Europeans stumbled on Bermuda, then settled and then forced Africans to work for FREE, now the descendants of the Europeans have the monopoly after centuries of Legal Theft and the descendants of Africans are STILL trying to get a piece of the pie after Slavery, Segregation and Systematic Social Separation.
But the Europeans are the Kings of Colonizing, especially in the America’s, Caribbean, Pacific Island’s and ESPECIALLY Africa.
King Leopold II was one of the most NOTORIOUS.

Britain is such a soft touch; no wonder the world’s refugees are making a bee line for the place; or is it that Britain’s colonial and imperialist past has caught up with her and speaking of the past; since Britain paid those slave owners compensation to let Africa’s humanity go free; how about some back pay for 400 years of unpaid labor owed to the descendents of slaves. Tell you what I will settle for the return of government house land and the building of a new airport; rather than letting the Canadians control it for the next 35 years.

@ Barbara Cooper, was that a actual sincere comment, or possibility of being sarcastic, either way, what ever you are on take stop while you have the chance.

He may not be a bad looking dude, but he is a lousy wanna be leader.

Off to see Mr. Cameron, well we have a very distraught family that has lost a dear loved one, and while Mr. Dunkley may have contacted them directly, only the Lord knows, but the country would like to see him take this serious enough to make a national statement from where ever in the world he is, technology now days you can do anything, after all he is not just the part temporary leader in the post at the top at the moment, he is also suppose to be the national security minister.

He is being paid over rated for both positions, so do some real work beside taking photo with folk to highlight yourself in the press.

Yes and as a result we travel freely and uninhibited to most of the world and our children are allowed to attend education in the U.K. at rates subsidized by the U.K. taxpayer. Not to mention the number of Bermudians who live, work and claim welfare/health care in the U.K. but have not paid a dime!

‘Please’Please Give Bermuda a break; we have been a good little British Overseas territory. Look we even pay for Britain’s diplomatic presence here and put your appointed British governor in a fine mansion on a piece of land that should be use for the economic development of Bermuda to the tune of over a million dollars a year.
