Amazing how many crime fighting axperts we have! We get a brief description of what happened and already we have the know-it-alls calling it a hoax, telling the victim what he should have done, revealing how there are CCTV cameras on the streets and at HSBC as if the Police didn’t know.

The truth is we really have no idea what was said or threatened, what was the age and size of the victim, or the culprits etc. How about letting the Police investigate this crime, or alleged crime if some want to call it that, and see where it leads them. Of course they will check the CCTV cameras and collect as much evidence as possible and then decide what action to take. It’s called Police work.

The Police cannot predict where and if a crime may happen. This could have been spurred by drg addition or pure evil planning and intent.

Also theothersidebda mentions why did the individual not draw attention to himself, probably because he or she was in shock or fear; but, this is all speculation. Even if the men where are , two against one, who knows. What would you do?

Something don’t sound right with this scenario…were the men armed? If not, then I wonder whether this was a ‘random’ incident or related to something else. Broad daylight, Vasco de Gama all the way to HSBC Reid St and not a single opportunity to draw attention to yourself? Barring being armed, it seems there may be more to this story.
