When will the powers to be see the light and stop being flogged by Delta, American, and United ( Useless Airlines).
look to Places like Hartford Ct. Westchester Co NY, Rhode Island, Albany NY Islip, NY. all the way up to the Great Lakes.
Good airports right in peoples back yards. why do they have to put up with the stress of long drive, flight stops at the big rip off airports, when there are lots of smaller carriers available to fly those cities.
with U.S. Customs pre clearance here in Bermuda one can flood the hotels here many , many weekends.
lets look at doing business, not governing.

That $99. thing was to supplement the fuel, by carrying passengers on the flights that Ed Acker used to travel back and forth to N.Y./ Bermuda during his position of running PAN AM. He lived in Paget.

NOW MANNY YEARS AGO…we used to have an Airline called “Eastern Airlines”.And I can remember because “I WAS THERE IT HAPPENED TO ME”
From EWR or Newark on one Sunday we had eastern 807/810 with what they called Extra-Sections.
The regular flight came in with (10) that is ten additional aircraft aeroplanes what ever you want to call them “FULL” of passengers.
That was eleven planes in and eleven planes out all on EA807/810 out of EWR which is Newark.
Them days are gone because them people did not look like us and we need airplanes just for us Bermudians.As you will notice majority of the passengers on Aircraft/aeroplanes are Bermudians and as we are thinning in Numbers we cannot support all the aircraft that “WE WANT”
If you are not happy PUT UP A HUNDRED MILLION ($100Million) and get your own and then you can fly all your friends.
Not too long and then you will really have something to P*ss and moan about

When there is enough demand for the route to be worthwhile. Airlines don’t put planes into the air on speculation.

Remember $99 one-way fares. If BTA and Airlines sat down and came up with a package i.e.
Tue-Thu 3 day special thru the winter months. We would take short breaks and shop on the east coast. They would come here to escape the cold and drop a few $$$.

United could not maintain that route in 2014, BDA air arrivals are down but BTA convinces United they (BTA) have plan too fill the seats. United cannot afford too risk route on BTA promise unless it included a $$$$$ guarantee. It is that simple people!
