Since you brought cannabis into this unrelated article I’m going to mention that Legal cannabis would give users an alternative access point. Instead of their money going into the hands of gangsters and ultimately used to buy these guns. Sales should be taxed and put back into the system.
May I remind everyone that alcohol has the largest connection to violence and death. Not cannabis. If someone wanted to rob a liquor store nobody would blame the liquor. They’d show compassion for the store owners.
In the time it took you to read this comment approximately 5 tobacco smokers and 3 alcohol users died from related illnesses around the world. Everybody needs to stop focusing on the plant thats not killing us and focus on the items that are.

Now please. Let’s get back to catching the criminals harming our island.

That drunk driving incident a few days ago causing grievous bodily harm and the guy gets off with a $2,000 fine and can’t drive for a few years.
