Some Bermudians really are brazen and thievish….

In broad daylight, I witnessed a grown woman climb up onto the stage and drag one of these beanbags off, and then proceed to tell her child to grab another one. Her friend (another ADULT) had been sitting on one of the bags for about an hour, holding it and waiting for the right moment to make an escape.

The three of them made their way down Front St. with the bags in tow, not getting too far before security guards stopped them and took the bags from them. They seemed surprised they weren’t entitled to take the bags home.

I’m sure they’ll be happy they can now purchase these bags while contributing to a good cause.
