Homosexuality DOES exist in nature. Marriage is what’s unnatural.
What’s being labeled as rights are rights. The rights that are being denied to a group of people based on someone else’s religion.
Those who are against it ARE wrong, because they’re denying rights to other people, and they are labelled religious because they are religious and are using that religion to deny the rights.
Bestiality is not any part of this conversation, as there is a thing called consent… That animals can’t give.

I went back and read the passages you’ve listed and I wasn’t surprised to find the wording that I have.

I understand that you believe those passages refer to marriage but my understanding of the scriptures in connection with understanding the practices of the time suggests something else entirely. It would be a long debate.

I did a brief search on the efforts to silence the faithful in relation to gay marriage and the best I could find on the short time available is in relation to publicly expressed hate speech. In that instance, yes it could well be used to silence the faithful, however there are ways to express one’s beliefs of sinners without it becoming hateful.

I’ll be looking into this further because I honestly do believe it to be wrong to punish people for their beliefs if they are not inciting hatred or violence to the broad masses.

If a guy called Jesus did exist and said all those wonderful things I am pretty sure he would be supporting gay marriage NOW.

The irony is that the same people who criticize others for being intolerant are the most intolerant people you will ever come across. I am not suggesting this is true of all gays just the radical faction who unfortunately seem to have the most influence. Consider how some of them acted regarding the petition of Cornerstone Church and you begin to understand this illness.Read the many nasty comments directed toward not just Christians but God and Jesus as well. That’s a good question. Here’s the answer: Genesis 2:22-25; this was the verse Jesus used to confirm how marriage was created as mentioned in Matthew 19:5; and the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:31.

That may be true for now; however, when we look at other nations where gay marriage has been instituted for some time, it has now been used to force people of faith not to voice their disagreement or their beliefs (Canada and Sweden are just two examples). In Sweden in particular, some years ago a pastor was arrested and jailed for preaching in his church what the word of God says about sexual sin, including homosexuality. He was later released but the homosexual community still demand his imprisonment.

Allow me to introduce you to the internet, it allows freer access to anything and everything you can imagine, whether you want to imagine it or not, than any gay tourists who might want to come to Bermuda.

You say you don’t say that procreation is a stipulation for marriage and then go on to say exactly that, claiming authenticity and saying that same sex marriage is sterile. This is a dishonest argument and it’s unfair.

This bit: “…well as the rights of children in relation to their natural parents” is just simply nonsense. You complain that gay couples can’t have kids, and then say that it abuses the right of those children… that don’t, by your definition, exist.

The reason people compare this to civil rights is because it is about privilege. Christian Privilege is just as big a problem as White Privilege.
And no one described homosexuality as a sub-species. You brought that up. It’s unfair and dishonest to argue against something no one else said.

What more reason do you need? Straight people get married for love all the time.
