Additional note. I love football but don’t go to games because of the iggrunce that goes on there. It is quite simply not safe for people of any demographic. Do something about it and I will support that sport. Think of an argument not based on moaning about people of a certain race. If is very boring.

I agree. I say where are those people during Harbour Nights etc.. When there is an event that the like they want all of Bda to come out but you won’t see them at any other event. IE: MSA fair. Those folks that put on that fair do not go or support any public school fairs. The crowds are not even half as much as they are at MSA fair.. I’m just saying..

There is a huge amount of support given to football and cricket by the “certain group” you talk about. Including financial support.

@Serengeti and Toodle-oo. The reality of your comments is that football and cricket are sports that are home grown and been around forever. Yet despite the longevity, there is still no diversity or support given from a particular group of citizens or residents. The spectator make up is always the same.

The AC is one off and I observed plenty of diversity on the water by boat on Sat to observe. Maybe if the AC supporting group showed more support for the crickets and footballs, there might be more reciprocity. Let’s keep it real now.

Thank God our weather turned out to be far better It looked absolutely fantastic on TV (and other venues I’m sure) “Jobs well done” go out to everyone that had taken a part in bringing this event to fruition.
