You got a lot of ‘dislikes’ but I felt the same way. Maybe because he seemed so confused and dazed. Yes, he was a fugitive but that just seemed like overkill-it was like some kind of mob mentality or something. He was restrained at that point so why that massive hoard of police for ONE man??? They also could have pulled his pants up-it was like they wanted to humiliate him further because he had humiliated them by escaping.

NOT excusing anything this man did but as far as I know, he hasn’t killed anyone. He’s a human being-not an animal but he was treated like one. Anyone who looks at that and thinks it’s o.k. is not right in the head with no compassion for their fellow human beings as far as I’m concerned.

The viewing of this video is somewhat disturbing and appear unnecessary ruff handling of another person human being who is already restrained in handcuffs. The acts of civility and sensitivity is to be expected from those who execute their respective duties. I can see this in this type of action. No one regard of the circumstance wish to be handle in such way and it is not by any-means acceptable or justifiable. I you wish for cooperation and respect such must be seen and given. Look like a pack of wolves descending on a lone sheep.

That’s just human nature and apparently always has been. I just read section of a history book about a large group who wanted to overthrow Queen Victoria and remove the British monarchy. She and her family were moved to safety and the police constables and military brought out as the large militant group descended on Buckingham Palace. At the last minute, there was a spot of luck: it began to pour buckets and the group gave up and returned home and it all just fizzled out after that. If not for the rain, the monarchy could have ended and a republic installed!

An escape prisoner really has no where to run and even if some one puts him up he will still be in a sort of house arrest.

Don’t know the chap , but I guess he most likely wanted to go a show down Front Street , but then it started sprinkling , then raining , then pouring , then absolutely throwing it down .
In the end he thought it just wasn’t worth it , so he did the right thing and allowed himself to be caught .

There is a video of this and the police mistreated this young man. he didn’t put up a fight but that didnt stop them from slamming his head into a car window.
