I agree with Tolerate, feral cats next. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE cats, and have 2 but the ferals are putting things way out of balance here.

I wonder how much this cost the tax payers. 30000 over a 3 year period only works out to be about 28 chickens per day. Do the math people before handing out praises for the things that us the people pay for!

Your name, to me,really tells me all…so you’re educated…so really you you are just a programmed conformist no doubt…obviously you are because your knowledge is limited to what you were TAUGHT and nothing more.

I don’t think you’ve ever been hungry either…and it seems that you aren’t much of a humanitarian anyway because you’ve mentioned “costs” which doesn’t concern people as a community coming together for the good of those in dire need…Ask the ones eating out of trash cans daily…If you can see that far down your nose.

One of the dirtiest animals out there is a pig and most of us eat pork. Including the lovely ham in a few weeks.
Those organic chicken eat most things that you see the people on survival TV eating and are still alive. Please market them like we do with the lion fish.

Is there actually something wrong with eating Radioactive chicken, the Human Race is trying to evolve. so we can fry up some Chernobyl Chicken, and we would all be helping the cause. Don’t you think its about time humans had Wings, now sure they’ll come from a flightless bird but its a step in the right direction, a flap if you will. The task force also tackles crows and pigeons, we can get crows and pigeons from Chernobyl to. Look at the Bigger picture. Instead of preaching that the chickens are safe to eat, Join me in relocating our feral feathered friends to their North Ukrainian Haven. When they’re ready we’ll bring them back and we can do all of those Nourishing Activities that you demand. I don’t normally talk business on oven an unprotected internet server like this but the people should know. I want you to join me. Please get on board with opening yet another restaurant, the next big thing a real culinary experience.

A ferral chicken tastes different cause it it’s from the ground. Store bought chicken is filled with poison. A week old chicken is full grown and ready to eat on your table in six weeks .. This is a fact as I know someone who raises chickens for tyson

If irresponsible people would stop dumping their cats and chickens you wouldn’t have an issue. In my house alone in 2 yrs we have killed 250 chickens and they still keep coming.

I bet it costs more to cull these “free” chickens than it does to import the ones in the store. Add in the cost of preparing them for public consumption.

These guys do a great job, but they need help from the public in the form of information on where to go looking for pests, and there are other ways you can help.

On the issue of feral cats, just a few years ago, and it probably goes on today, there was a feeding programme for feral cats next to Bulls Head Car Park in the early evenings, and within minutes there were dozens of large rats feeding on the cat food. You could see these rats every day soon after the cats were fed. I never saw a feral cat attacking any of these rats. As far as I’m concerned the feeding programme was totally ineffectual for feral cats, but a real treat for those rats. I think it’s called the law of unintended consequences!

Blame the feline people for that crap…feeding feral cats is wrong (unless you feed them at YOUR house)they’re upsetting the balance of nature…you know how the story goes the Food chain…I won’t be more graphic than that.

I had 2 feral cats hanging around, I never fed them and I never saw any rats or mice except when they left half of them in the yard…After a few months they’re still hanging out like they lived here…long story short…I fell for their cute looks and started to feed them …sure enough mice were back…If you feed me why should I inherently hunt..?

3000 chickens..? Ok so where and when is the free bbq feeding the homeless and hungry…I’m sure with the bbq there is also chicken soup…hell yeah let’s start early because we also gotta use the eggs up too…breakfast and dinner for the downtrodden.

Do ur research …unless these chickens were caught picking around Chernobyl…feral chickens are natural organic chicken free of the pharmaceuticals which is what makes YOU sick…these chickens are the ones you buy as organic chicken at a very steep price at the market…If you think chickens eat disease causing swill…then you’ve never owned or cared for animals…but if we ate them instead of buying foreign chicken. ..Someone along the line will take a huge loss…and that’s not what they want.
