It’s a Job how can he have say on who gets the job after him.
He should only hope the best person gets the job if he really cares.
Very nervy what employee does that or do they need a chain with someone who will cover if need be for the past or future dealing. Someone who knows the game and is willing to play the game your way.

Interesting Bermuda,s relationship had been at a 25 year low with the USA at the point of Mr Slayton,s arrival.. one needs to be specific on the events happening during that 25 year period. I don,t suppose much will be released to the general public, these are areas of concern that are address ed by the leaders of each country. Mr Slayton resigned in 2009, some four years after his arrival in 2005, he further says that Bermuda and USA relations were now ( 2009 ) at a 25 year all time high. I have not noticed any event that has had a lasting negative effect over the past 25 years, so unless He is specific I will have to wait and see.
