Who knows what tourism travel will be like in 10;20 or even 30 from years from now.
If i were a visiting tourist say in 15 years, all i would have is a picture swipe card, get on and off the plane the plane with the aid of an escalator and into a taxi or customized hotel transportation and off i go to the beach.
Who needs an Airport cattle / sheep pen?
Who needs our children with debt responsibility ?
Who needs to wait in line for the slaughter ?

hey ! Bermuda is another world or is it ?

AND

Who need an airport that cost an arm and two legs who make investors wealthy. measure twice cut once, be very careful how you/ our spent your hard earned money.

Look to the future of International travel if you could only have the vision.
The money would be better spent on building a Bermuda hotel here and V bies can build it,something that does not look like a prison, with a number on the door, or a New York high rise , something that will attract all if “Sandals” patrons and more.

Every one ,It is time Bermuda started thinking out of the box the time is now.

Architects, if you must build ,a reminder here , always build on the high ground not on fill.

It is a poor indication of the opposition if two of its prominent members go to a meeting that was widely advertised as being a consultation meeting for a private contract, and complain that there are no politicians to answer their questions. It was known and made clear that this was a meeting by the companies contracted so complete a social and economic study, so for two prominent members of the opposition to go there and politicize it; either they knew what the meeting was about and did so deliberately, which makes them misleading, completely disrespectful and unfit for positions of trust in political leadership; or they didn’t have a clue, which means they didn’t understand the clear advertisement of what the meetings were for, thus unfit for positions of political leadership… and not understanding what was clearly advertisemented is even more disturbing considering one of the is supposed to be a teacher. And to further get up there are pander the gross misrepresentation of this notion that we are giving away $1b, a distortion to the point now that it has lost any ability to lay claim to any hold on truth, especially in the face of common sense and basic financial mathematics.
On behalf of all Bermudians who have taken the time to fully read everything that has been made available in order to better understand what is being done, I appologize to the organizers, and thank them for their efforts.

@triangle, I can only assume the 75% of Bermudians that the plp claim are against this airport deal, didn’t think it was important enough to show up??? What an f’n joke???? Kim Swan ranting about no politicians being at an EIS consultation meeting, shows me that he is not very astute.
He is now trying to get air time as he needs to stay relevant in case the PLP ever comes back to power (God Help us) and he does not want to miss the gravy train.

This is the first Im hearing of any meeting in St David’s about the airport construction. Was this advertised to the public? These lot are up to their tricks again. They will get their airport & again like every other big project in Bermy the people of Bermuda will get shafted. #facedownbuttup
