Very interesting indeed, a pharmacist can regale us with a tale of turning the weekly friday night pi$$-up into some impromptu health experiment and be praised for it whilst retaining his job dispensing dangerous drugs. A person found with metabolites of THC in the widespread, mandatory, pre-employment drug screening used to weed out “undesirables” is completely unemployable. So hypocritical.

Amazing article!
I think that placebo should be used whenever it can be used. I think more importantly people need to learn how powerful their own bodies are. Whenever I’m sick, I get up and make myself do things as if I’m not sick and that alone gets me better within hours. You don’t need to take anything for the placebo effect to work, you can cut the middle man and just start believing in your body’s own abilities to heal yourself. I’ve figured out ways to encourage my body to release more endorphins when needed and I’ve found out ways to encourage my body to release Adrenalin, now that is the best drug known to man. I never take medicine because of this and I think people should be encouraged to avoid taking medicine as much as you can, because taking medicine especially when you don’t need it is dangerous even with the guidance of a doctor.
