I am one of those people who find the word “sorry” to be no less than a quick fix , serving absolutely no purpose , where there is no good intent or meaning other to get away from the deed or a situation previously created.

Time has come and way over due to accept responsibility for ones own actions physical or verbal.

To solve the problem. Don’t do unto others.
Go in peace and leave in peace.

It is not what people say, it is the way it is conveyed.

To this day as a young boy I will never forget going to the house to show sympathy for something to another young boy, to whom my mother said this is my son’s Christmas present and you are to have it.
I was broken and devastated I walked away in tears.

Some how Sorry did not fit that situation and never will.

It was a nice speech for BOB. Lets get this out there, he may not have lost the case, its a civil dispute the magistrate could care less about who apologized or not.

Jason was the bigger man by making an apology to placate bobs ego. But like he daid “justice would have been granted to the person with the deeper pockets” which is usually the case in any civil dispute.

There are times that public officials will be offended by remarks by opposing political folk, business leaders and the general public. Its impor tant to know exactly what was said. The proposed redevelopment of the airpo rt is very expensive, and it appears to exclude any control or ownership by Bermuda. So it is likely any remarks made may have been construed as offens ive. The idea of losing a major portion of the economic pie is is very very disturbing, and it has and will continue to provoke response. Are we lookin g at a $20 million re-fit that will give us a further 15 years ? Can we do it with $80 million ? Our people need help, the country needs help. Various leaders have spoken, and they have felt the pulse of the community at large. Governments come and go..and value systems and loyalities vary. We need prayer, we need stability and we need folks to govern on principle and vision.

The only reason that you “Jason Hayward” apologized in court is because you did not want to get slapped with a suit of thousands of dollars. You siad tose words because you thought that you could say anything that you wanted no mater it true or not. this goes to show “What type of person you are and who you think you represent”.

I don ‘t know or care what Jason said but reading the article if I think less of any body is because of their actions! And what I think of all involved in the airport redevelopment I should be allowed to shout it from the roof tops as we all will be paying for it ! regardless of the negativity of is. But to silence the opposition creates a bad precedence. I for one oppose the multi million dollar planned airport with either bridge to get to in falling apart.

A BIGGER PROBLEM: That current ” GROUP”apologies for absolutely nothing.They constantly do inappropriate and unintelligent things to attempt to affect Bermudians lives and apologize for NOTHING.
