Most likely each crime took less than 5 minutes to commit, a handbag snatch took less than 7 seconds. I can,t say much about CCTV, offenders will hear the police coming. If the police have to leave Southside, its about a 2 minute race to the town of st george,s. If the police are further west says shelly bay, then the response is a bit longer if they are not already handl ing other matters. Also there may be a look out that will call ahead to warn of the police coming, then there are escape routes..golf course, cut road. So there are certain factors that play out, that we the public are not always aware of. I totally agree at least one unit with two police offi cers should be visible moving about the immediate business area, not going off to wellington to deal with a noisy party.

Bermuda, we do not have a serious crime problem…. it is only a few low life who do not want to work !!!! so they take the easy way out and steal, and snatch hand bags and what ever….but the opposition party will say it is because they can not get a job !!!! these loosers do not want a job…on another note listening to the House of Assembley today, my God Rolfe, you do not need to shout to get your point across.

Really … It’s just life. Nothing can ever stop all.. Might make people think twice about s***, and good for them.
Sadly, this will definitely be a problem that will never be solved. Let’s just hope and pray for their sake, that no one ever attempts to break into my home!

Was the violent criminal black, white, portugese, chinese, hmmm? why do we never ever ever hear the most important and defining aspects of their description, time and time again?! In no other country on earth would you find such profound lack of description.

Can you imagine? ….
“NYPD here. We are on the lookout for a dangerous suspect. Description is male, tall. Keep an eye out for him.” Later on NBC New York News that evening we hear, “The NYPD have arrested 250,000 suspects matching the description given earlier.”

are people afraid to describe people for some particular reason? what is more important, that odd fear or knowing who the heck is attacking people?!
