What is Sir John’s record on EQUALITY ?
What is ironic is that due to lack of Government support under John Swan’s leadership, Dr. Stubbs was forced to bring a Private Members Bill to the House of Assembly to have the sodomy law changed in 1994. Premier John Swan voted against it.

All depends who you ask, Dame Lois Browne Evens, Dr. Pauulu Kamarakafego (Roosevelt Browne), and Dr. Edgar Fitzgerald Gordon are Heroes for African Bermudians whom were down trodden and oppressed, while Henry Tucker, E.T. Richards and John Swan are heroes for de white elite, business upper class.

Sir John Swan is a black Bermudian Knight , we only have one of them ! We have a few Dames ,but only one Knight . He didn’t get McDonald’s , he got a Knighthood . His contributions to the business community may be legendary , but not so much to the poor underclass .
