Britain experienced a massive population increase during it’s time as a member of the European Union and it did zero measurable good for their country’s economy. In Bermuda the pro population increase people argue that a huge increase in the population would be good for the Bermuda economy.The increase in population by people from all over Europe is one of the main reasons cited by British citizens for wanting to exit the European Union because it was putting a strain on employment and resources and displacing the British people. That from a country with far more available jobs resources and indigenous people than Bermuda will ever have. Appears the British people have settled the argument for the Bermuda Politicians and all other local residents who “drumbeat” in favour of a population increase for the reason mentioned.

So some people don’t like it when them limes want to control there Imigration and Borders as Bermuda does.
And “SWITZERLAND” in not a member of the “EU” and there economy is “BOOMING” besides having a very high standard of living.
VERY VERY LOW CRIME RATE,as every house hold has one of more “GUNS” in it provided by the Government.
As every young male has to do conscription and is issued a “GUN” with ammunition.When he is finished he has to by LAW take the “Gun and Amunition” home.And has to keep it in good condition for the rest of his life.
If living in a house with father and grandfather there would be (3)
guns and ammunition.
Little or no crime.

Sorry, I’m one of those ‘bloody’ foreigners taking up your island here, as Brit born & bred I have to pipe up.

While yes, we will lose a significant benefit with trading partners in the EU, inner-EU migration & student rates etc, the BENEFITS far outway – one of the big factors being Membership Fees – UK’s net contribution was 8.5bn GBP, which is about 7% of the NHS annual spending that we’ll get back & fishing Rights – leaving the EU the UK fisherman will regain full fishing rights around *its own coast*!

While that’s only two points (of many) – there’s a long road ahead!

I honestly don’t see why a sacrificial lamb is nessessitive…unless it is some kind of lodge ceremony…legitimacy can be found elsewhere, BTW…ABC reporting was definitively rife with rating ,grubbing,air time ,price gouging,sensationalists.
Some things are just rude supposition.

Yup …way I see it…is EU have mismanaged economies whereas the better economies have to carry their dead weight…I good advice is given and there is no change then “Our options would rightly invariably change”.

S’like giving plp your wallet and saying there’s a grocery store over there n’go and get our people some food…when ..inbetwixt here and there…there is a social club…a bar…a casino…a candy store…a bordellah…etc.
What real chance we got of them returning with our food.
EU is a convoluted colage of separate economies some would not fully participate in unison……oh well…at least we have a Commonwealth!

Apparently the younger generation of voters where overwhelmingly for REMAIN. Sadly the older embittered generation didn’t think of how Britain will be affected as a lone wolf in the 22nd century. Their kids will pay the price for their xenophobia ….. sounds familiar Bermuda?
