You realize a member of the public found one of the two stolen bikes, the club or the owners put it on the media, you or anyone could do the same.

Too bad this much effort is not put into recovering private bikes stolen. The attitude seems to be “Oh well. Too bad. Contact your insurance company & claim for a new one. We really don’t want to hear about it.”

WOW I wish they would put just as much effort into when the publics everyday transportation gets stolen. When they steal our means of transportation, that we use to go work, it does not make the news like these two recreational motorcycles have made. Job well done in finding one of them.

I’m happy that it has been recovered and hope that the smaller one will be found
Instead of removing the bike wouldn’t it been better to leave it in the bush and wait till the culprits return to get it ?

I’m sure that the owner of the ‘found ‘ bike is very pleased that the property that he worked hard and paid good money for has been located . I hope the 2nd one is recovered shortly too .

Over the years I’ve found a good few stolen bikes in obscure out of the way places, often dumped on private property so the thieves can return later to strip them but often stolen bikes are right in front of us in public places.
