I find this amazing that it is going to close for two weeks, I had assumed that it was closed as for the past three weeks I have never seen any sign of life there when I have gone past. Guess their hours of opening are different than my drives past.

Is it just me or wouldn’t it make sense to have done this outside of hurricane season? If a storm comes barrelling through and closes the bridge for a few days what are the Easterners to do?

Oh No! Where are all the people from the western parishes supposed to go for prompt emergency services? So much quicker to drive all the way to the east end than go to KEMH.
