It looks like Sheilagh Head has another world class landscape exhibition. I am serious. I read Artist Magazine, International Artist Magazine and I have been to the Tate Britain, the British National Gallery and the Museum of Fine Art in Boston in the last year or 2 and Sheilagh Head 's work is in that class. Her colours have changed in the last couple of years but she has a very poetic use of colour and interpretation of the landscape. It is amazing that her work looks dynamic no matter what size it is. She has paintings of some new sites for her. Her familiar favourite locations are executed much like how Cezanne repainted Mont Sainte-Victoire. It is worth having one of these Sheilagh Head favourite locations if you are a serious collector of her work or Bermuda landscapes. The Gallery 117 has opened with a show that has set a very high standard to live up to. I wish Danjou success and Sheilagh Head success with her show. The parking is very easy in this new location so there is no excuse not drop by and carry a new painting back to your car.
