Actually looks a little bigger than expected. It was never going to be an ice hockey pitch. Have seen smaller in malls. Hopefully they will limit numbers to ensure enough space and have ability/age sessions. Nice opportunity for those who can’t go elsewhere to skate. Hope it’s like “real ice”.

Sandy’s Rotary had an ice skating rink many years ago. It didn’t work as well as expected, because they used Bermuda beach sand as the base and the salt in the send melted the ice as quickly as it froze.
