I have a big question why couldn’t they have it at Whitney Institute it would have made more sense they have a lot of space. They have 2 fields and the school’s big enough for both of them.

grateful, my daughter comes home to say that ‘teaching’ will NOT occur until Wednesday. That’s EIGHT days lost. Please let me know if you have available time to tutor cause this is a critical year for my daughter with important test to take!

Then dont b$@ch and moan when your kid doesnt get a place in college over that private school kid. Like those teachers actually “teach” anything. Mercy this country is a joke. Gov workers just love a paid day off. Smh. Dislike all you tools want. Your kids are the ones who are gonna suffer in the long run.

You should also be asking the adminstrators of the school why did it have to come to this? Understand that they are the “leaders” of the school and such matters should have been dealt with if the proper documentation was written and sent to MOED. Were they not listened to? or Did the ball drop somewhere? Still many unanswered questions. Glad the students can get on with their learning.

Just a thought…
Is it correct that the entire T N Tatem student body can be accommodated at Clearwater?

If yes, is the correct decision is for Bermuda to examine the optimum use of our buildings?

How much would be saved if there was a permanent closure of the school and appropriate relocation of the students.

… Just a thought.

All I am saying it was a long fight to get this going to get the kids back on track. At the same time the schools working together, the teachers working together and the students getting together. The Bermudian people can learn a lot from this and bring back the Bermuda of old where people gave a hand to help each other.

Feel free to ask your child’s teacher for extra work to take home if you feel they are that far behind because of five days. I applaud the teachers and parents who have sacrificed their time both in the class and out to make sure that our children’s health and safety was considered. They could still be sitting in deplorable conditions and as a result could have been out of school for an extensive amount of time due to illness. Don’t block the blessing.
