For all those touting privatization, drive up to Dockyard and experience the road surface from just after the sea cadets building going west to just before Prince Albert Terrace. It is eerily similar to the stretch by the Somerset Cricket Club which was so poorly done it had to be resurfaced, again, a few months ago, looks like the same type of shoddy workmanship, holes, creases lumps, bumps and folds, look at the lack of curb stones where the tar is just overlapping the grass along the old graveyard (curbstones were installed in front of the $e$$ion$ House of course). This is an embarrassment, especially on the only road in and out of the AC.
