- losing 5,000 jobs between 2008/12 (2,000 alone in their last year)

- 6 consecutive qualified audits on the consolidated fund
- closing of umpteen hotels and other guest properties
- overseeing the destruction of St. Georges
- bloating the civil service to unsustainable levels

Bermudians are like 3 year olds on Christmas morning. They get a good haul of gifts then are not satisfied. They want more, more, more & they don’t like what they got.

we need to “free up” and have two Hero’s Weekend type events on the calendar annually and maintain them.

and all of our unemployed/underemployed fellow Bermudians will not be magically employed like some of the pundits would like to profess but at least we are on the road to recovery….

The HAVES:

will HAVE a little less in their coffers but will have the opportunity to have a little of the pie

The Have-Nots:

Will have the opportunity to get a smaller piece of the pie but not the same amount as the HAVES.

THERE WILL BE A PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION WHO WILL GET NOTHING OF THE PIE BECAUSE WE HAVE CREATED AN UNDERCLASS OF PEOPLE WHO CANNOT SURVIVE ON THE WAGES BEING OFFERED BY SOME OF THE HAVES OR EVEN WANNA BE HAVES AND ON TOPPA THAT, WE HAVE BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO A STANDARD OF LIVING (SOME OF US LIVING ABOVE OUR MEANS) AND EXPECT MANNA TO FALL FROM HEAVEN AND WE ALL LIVE IN UTOPIA………
