The amount of work that W&E has completed in the past year or so is staggering. Who is the Minister in charge of all this activity? How has he managed to get so much work done out of the management & supervisors at W&E? Further, why were previous Ministers not able to get the work done all those years that roads & buildings were deteriorating?

Was all this done by W&E people or was it farmed out to private contractors?

It’s a shame that either BTC or ONE have been allowed to string a cable across the waterway. It also causes a hazard, as the point of the drawbridge is to allow a sailboat mast to pass between the two bridge sections. With the cable there, it makes it impossible if the mast is more than about 18-20′. Everyone else has had to underground their wiring across this channel. Looks ugly in photos too!
