We are living in a time where truth is lies and lies are truth, right is wrong and wrong is right, The Most High is unrighteous and Satan is righteous and 2+2 is now based on your own opinion.

Also regarding the violence and death against our males, there is such hypocrisy cigarettes and alcohol has caused more deaths on the Island than gun violence, with the seal of approval from the Government. But do to the fact the masses have been indoctrinated and brainwashed believe that a person should not “drink and drive” under the influence, that is to make the consumption of alcohol acceptable. Numerous people have been physically and sexually assaulted because someone has been under the influence of alcohol.

But no one mentions these facts regarding the deaths that are taking place on the Island that is approved by the Government. These facts are not mentioned because the finger would be pointed at them and not us.

When we are willing to take to the streets to make take a position on exclusion we should all sit up and reflect. What willingness do we have to look at the many other issues the could be equitable and accessible?

There are strong parallels between the polarization around Marriage Equality as around Education- both Private and Public – in Bermuda.

Ignoring one to politicize another does not honour the complexity of our humanity and community in Bermuda.

There is no simple solutions and there are both pathways of improvements and setbacks known to many.

The current review of our public education system without the inclusion of a review on the impact of private education in our community is telling.

We have both public and private education in Bermuda and to address one with out the other is risky if we are seeking a lasting solution to this long term divide.

I trust Mr. Hill will take his willingness into these planning discussions.
