Same sex marriage doesn’t negatively affect anyone else’s life. Why are the churches and ministers even involved in this? Why are they wasting time ignoring very serious social issues (like gun violence) that should warrant an all out march and protest? Let people love and marry whoever they choose. There are extremely pressing social issues in Bermuda that require action.

Sad part is the police knows but they would rather set up a stop and search for yhe every day person and some of these momas know too but they wanna treat their kids like their comapny.. Takes a village but the village is not together in these times its every man/woman for themselves.. So sad bring back the love we once had call a gatjering for all parents with boys and their kids to one big error and do what we have to do as loving carjng people!!!

Well, with road safety we have the cops issuing countless “due care” tickets, stretching the definition to include an increasingly broad array of offenses, collecting $30,000 in one hour at magistrates court for ‘third laning’, whilst there has been no increase in drunk driving arrests despite Dr. Joe Froncioni claiming police are not testing all major accident casualties for alcohol even when some are full hot (since 1996). Our stats are therefore meaningless since no one wants to point fingers at Bermudas’ #1 drug of choice. The other major addiction causing accidents that is largely ignored is cell phones, texting or yakking away while driving which more closely fits the charge driving without due care and attention than third laning which can be done safely.

Road safety and gun violence are real issues we as a community need to pioritize and address now …having paid ministers spending time stopping folks who love each other getting married is not useful for anyone we, as individuals ,community groups and church can be more involved … why have we not seen a prayer wall on gun violence issues ?
Nobody marching for these causes either ???
