Overloaded ‘IN’ registration van with suspension totally compressed overtaking 6 cars on the same dangerous , narrow stretch mentioned above on wet roads !

When I was little and there was 1/4 of the traffic on the roads that we have now my pops would never overtake anyone on this stretch as it’s narrow and has exit gates all along it .

Couldn’t see around it , under it or over it.Traffic rolling at about 50K . Suddenly it overtook a car in front of it on a narrow straight of way totally unsuited for passing .
I thought he was nuts.
Moments later the car drifted over into the oncoming lane with only it’s left hand (nearside) wheels still in its own lane and stayed there for at least 60 feet as it approached the oncoming bends.
I was already about 8 car lengths back but fell back to about 15
Oh , it was only 10.15 in the morning so I don’t think we’re talking about the usual 3am drunken behavior either .

In that short time, I cannot tell you how many close calls I saw with bikes overtaking with no regard to oncoming traffic and one car doing the same, if I hadn’t hugged the wall we would of met head on . . The island is 21 miles long where is the need to go in such a hurry . You are not invincible and I don’t want you being another statistic, or be the cause of taking an innocents life . LIFE IS PRECIOUS NOT JUST YOURS BUT EVERYONES !!!!!
