We would have been further away from the remains of Hurricane Jose if we had left as scheduled. Hurricane Maria was never an issue.
A full extra day of spending on board at shops, casinos restaurants, bars and spa for NCL instead of money spent on Bermuda.
If the rumors are true, a bonus for fuel saving for the captain for a slow crawl back to port after a long route with large waves to Bermuda.
Shame on NCL and the captain to put profit ahead of customer service.

They waited till today to release information I tried to get information from them for three days my daughter is on that ship and I have not heard from her since the ship left my other daughter was in Bermuda and kept informing me that she never met up with her so I will not know till tomorrow what happens and how come she was not able to meet up with her sister, this is one cruise line that will never get my money again

Yup, a rip off for the passengers. Definately. Safety my butt, they will be losing a whole day in BDA and they are not happy.

Cynics might suggest that Norwegian will benefit greatly from this change in schedule: an extra day’s revenue from the casino, bars and stores and, presumably, fuel savings as the ship travels at a slower speed back to New York. Not sure of their logic either as the ship will be back in New York with Maria still south of Bermuda. I spoke to several passengers today: none are happy.
