Section 4 of the RFI describes the purpose of the RFI which is the information gathering aspect to determine needs, visions and Section 5 describes what the Tech Hub is. You won’t achieve Section 5 objectives by renting office space at Suite Solutions. If as stated below there is little or no interest maybe Government could create a background structure to show how a physical location combined with platforms for access to government ministries, resources whether it be software, legal services, health services whatever the need may be, this could spur some more interest. This could definitely be a good idea if well planned. Just think about how difficult it is presently to navigate governments web site.

Why even do a RFI? Just put out the proposed specs in the RFQ/RFP. Unless the government doesn’t know what they want to build yet. Personally, I don’t believe this is money well-spent by government. Especially if South Side is where this will be. Why wouldn’t I just rent an office space from someone like Suite Solutions who are much closer to Hamilton and all the legal, insurance, and capital minds. Should an entrepreneur put more stock in the government than the free market to get their business off the ground? Seems like a money pit.
