Only when the PLP are in power. When the OBA are in power there is screaming from the rooftops for transparency. Trip costs were reported under the OBA, the guys screaming for more transparency before the election have pulled down the reporting portal to hide the costs. I am willing to bet they were in the front of the planes and in suites at the hotels. Do you not care about waste? Or is it just dependent on who you feel needs to tell.

Well Done Premier and thank you for the update and good news.

Its worth every second of your time and taxpayerrs money to be in the EU and London meeting key influencers at the moment.

We need to tell the Bermuda story and protecct our turf and that is what you have done.

Bermuda and offfshore financial centers are under sustained attacks from onshore jurisdictions and have been since the global finanical crisis.

No one is going to fight in our corner. Bermunda’s stakeholders are spedning alot of time and money putting in standards to ensure that we meet these challeneges but the Government needs to articulate our progress and seriousness to its contempoaries.

That is exactly what the Premier did and if he hadn’t Bermuda would have looked silly.
