Look at the Crow Lane bus shelter at the roundabout on the east side.

It spans the sidewalk but has an arch at the ends so piedestrians can walk through without stepping onto the road. That bus shelter must be one of the busiest on island and has been in place with this design for decades.

Why do they start something and then they see the problem. It takes them such a long time to complete most of there projects WHY. This is where a lot of OUR money is being spent.The problem now is the union is best friends with the leaders of this lovely country and believe me that is not a good thing because how do you fight disputes. So are they going to knock it down and rebuild it, i hope not.

Yup, There are lots of unemployed construction workers who need jobs if these lot don’t value theirs and it’s way past time that these crews had someone film them daily and play it back so that we could see the total lack of productivity and fire the non-workers.

Even then people would still be in denial. All this helps to do is drive up the cost of govt and in turn the coast of living as the govt just increases taxes, and other fees to pay for it. Disgraceful!.

Mikey you have no idea of how the Bermuda government works.

The foreman is not in charge. The Superintendent is not in charge. The Department Head is not in charge. The Permanent Secretary is not in charge.

The BIU is in charge and no government will try to control that. Take UNLIMITED sick leave as proof. Look at the pathetic productivity proven by broken busses. The list goes on.

5 weeks to build that. WTF. Another example of why W&E should never build anything. This will probably be a 250,000 bus stop by the time it is done. Most construction firms would have two people on the job and be done in 7 days..max!

I dont live down there but i pass there on my way to work sometimes. there is no bus shelter on that stretch and those people have to stand there rain blow or shine. the side walk dont have to be that big i dont even thing one is needed because the bus has to tuck in
