The PLP were great at ELECTIONEERING . Not so good at governing and actually delivering on their promises. Lots of bashing, manipulation of facts, lots of promises, some great speeches too! Now what?

Where are the jobs, the tech zone in Southside. God help us if they actually really think that was a good idea. They had all the answers and all the support! Should’ve been easy right! LOL. Sad that so many fell for their BS.

Thank goodness those before them actually worked hard to start turning things around.

So the wifi is not going to be for the use of the students.
Why did they lie to us? They told us they were ‘investing in students first’. It turns out they didn’t pay for it (ACDBA did), and it’s not for students in any case.

Not sure but the ACEA Legacy Report said they had donated enough wi-fi equipment to install in all public schools. So probably the America’s Cup event. Sad that the PLP won’t even accept the AC35 took place. So much for the thousands of school children who benefited from the event and learnt life skills through sailing. Certainly a better use of money than Grand Atlantic which has cost at least $50 million for low cost housing that no one could afford and continues to sit empty and cost money to maintain.

please have a separate Education Authority that has the right people doing the right things for our children……

it is alarming that there are few standardised administrative functions at the schools to cover everything from fund raising to school lunches to dissemination of information that isn’t repetitive would be nice because some schools are good and some should replace, retrain their staff in key posts because some (SOME) teachers are in it for the money only and not to create our future leaders
