Alcohol is a harmful, dangerous and addictive drug which is known to lead to bad decision making and violent behavior. I bet you railed against banning cancer sticks from commercial flights too, if airlines had any sense they would stop serving it, and all you coffin varnish proponents need to do some self-analysis. If you have to drink with every meal, drink at the beach, drink around the kids, drink on a flight etc., etc., you may have issues that need addressing which liquor can’t solve.

Sometimes passengers consume alcohol before they even get on the plane and it’s not apparent. Then they could be served a couple more that would put them over the limit. Once the crew notice that the passenger is intoxicated, they will cut the passenger off and say ‘no more drinks’ and that’s the point at which they go ballistic. I’ll bet that’s what happened-that he acted up when they said they wouldn’t serve him any more drinks.

Yes i must say that it’s a good idea but they should have a limit on the amount they serve especially on long haul flights in economy with the exception of those that are in first class because some people really don’t know the cost of getting drunk pax off of their flights and not to mention the costs it involves to the airline and the inconvenience to the other passengers whom which are depending on getting to their destination on connecting flights to other destinations.
