I’ll be honest every meal I’ve had there has been just OK. The hype about it is way over the top and why go there and get charged ridiculous amounts when I can go to somewhere else for the same price and better meal?! I won’t be going back anytime soon…

As for the portions…those look huge for samplers! I think the photos have removed the mystery there

That’s the point sir; they don’t have to kiss your a$$, but they do anyway. Even if you’re late for a reservation. Very classy.

We dined there yesterday as well and the meal was wonderful. We are not professional critics like you but we were treated like royalty. I was impressed with the server’s knowledge of vegan options on the menu her level of helpfulness (most servers direct you to vegetarian options with dairy and are completely ignorant of what vegan is). Our server also was able to recommend cocktails to us that matched our “personality” which we found endearing. I loved the vegan dessert which was a flambéed pineapple with a coconut milk sorbet and toasted coconut. This was our second time there and found the quietness of the lunchtime much more intimate than dinner. It was a very relaxing experience for hubby and I and we will be back.

We had a dreadful meal there 2 years ago which put us off ever going back, but we did go back 2 weekends ago, and the meal was absolutely incredible!! Highly recommend it now!

‘greeted with warmth and RESPECT’?! I get the warmth part but unless you are someone important then no need to kiss your a$$!
