Put an investment position on an ICO? If you’re a millionaire, go ahead you can afford the risk. Investing is not gambling. When you invest in something it must have some sort of fundamental values not just a white paper and a promise from the Bermuda Government to regulate it. Doing a pump and dump on an ICO is too easy and it’s been done too many times. We’ll spend too much regulating something that will end up being banned.

Anyone who knows how to set up a smart contract on a blockchain can make their own ico. There’s no way of tracking them or stopping them from having it crowd funded.

Besides, didn’t PLP get the memo the two main global platforms for promoting ICOs have ban them from advertising. Without google and twitter ads these ico’s will just die off. It will happen just as Warren Buffet predicted “In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending … When it happens or how or anything else I don’t know.”

If anyone wants to invest in blockchain, invest in Hitachi, IBM, Daimler, Hive Blockchain Technologies or XNET on a secure stock exchange. PLP is not going to be able to get your money back if someone pump and dumps a coin offering you invested in while world government backed security commissions will.

The world’s most respected economists, billionaires and companies are all warning people about this. 50% of the coins that started in 2017 failed. Allianz released reports on it this just last week. I understand the hype because everyone wants to be a part of the next big thing. Mr Caine’s and the PLP. I beg you…for the sake of Bermuda , do not rush into this. Sit back, watch and wait. Do not rush into this. Ask yourself…do you want to be first to market and be the “Zune” or would it not make more sense to sit back, take notes…listen to the experts, get it right …and be the “iPod”.

Mr Caine’s…a crypto currency in NOT a currency unless it is TRADED. A for all you crypto currency bandwagon riders that own them , ask yourself this question. How many people do you know that own BITCOIN and other “currencies” hoping to cash out at a profit versus those that actually buy things with it.i know lots of people that brought it with the hopes of cashing out and making lots of money.i don’t know one person NOT ONE that has used it to buy anything.
