I’m assuming that’s the whole idea, for people to pay in longer and wait longer to receive anything back. I guess you also increase the chances of people dying off before they get anything back leaving more money in the “pot” as I don’t believe that any beneficiaries – other than a widow – collects if you die, unlike the private pension plans. Can anyone clarify?
