“During the meetings, a request was made by the BUT Executive to extend the deadline by one week for providing parents with progress reports, from 8 March, 2019 to 15 March, 2019. The Department of Education agreed to honor the request of the BUT Executive.“

Ok, but why was the request made? So teachers could be taught how to fill out a progress report on their students?

It seems that everything the civil service these days is late!

By the way Ministry people, at a very early age you should have learned that it is “lobour”, not “labor”.

Do they still have truancy officers? I see public school kids going to school late or not at all sometimes. I remember when I was in school if you was late or didnt show up than your parents got into trouble after the 3rd warning. We also had to have our report cards signed amd brought back to school!
