200k is a long way from 80s over 400k…and a fraction of our gdp.
Well is Cayman, over 1.7m cruise over 409k air!
So no, tourism is not doing well. And 3m for an office in NY can’t they just work from home?

I am always surprised how easy it is for those to accept everything from BTA without asking what value was received for these expenditures. If this was the government there would be questions! There is no need for NYC office in a high rent location, it is nothing more than a staff office. With the number of ad, marketing and PR consultants under contract what does the all BTA staff do? Thanks to improved economy in USA there have been big increases in American’s traveling, who checks the ROI on these contracts to insure they are bringing in visitors and not just more American’s traveling?
