The police should check the abandoned house on the property, if haven’t already done so, of an evening or early morning to see if the critter is shacked there.

My family are terrified at every little sound around our home to the point of paranoia.

The police ocasionaly come round our area at night do not get out of the car, I watch them from in plain sight, because, i guess that they are terrified also.

Most criminal activity now happens during the day or during full moonlight.

Where do they learn all this T.V. and West gate University.

Their incentive could be the high cost of living brought on by excessive double ~ dip taxation.

Our home is our prison.

We lock every door.
We lock every window.
We lock our car.
We lock our scooter.
We lock our valuables in the safe deposit box.
We don’t have an alarm system.
We used to have dogs they died of old age.

This is the life of senior citizens we have come to expect as the new norm.

The complete judicial system from police, pass the Court room ,and prison system cost the tax payer millions, sorry guys, I forgot re habilitation .

It appears we are not safe anywhere in the world, Bermuda is not an Utopia (well for some people it feels like it is because of Historical Safety net Policies), we are as much a part of the rest of the world which has crime, greed and corruption.
Just like you can go to ANY hardware store and buy a power tool for $600 and get the same tool online for $150 (sugar tax included) is a testement of how legal theft is normal.

Indeed , a very day, for the children. How daring and how ruthless to attack children for money , they are the least able to protect themselves. May the culprit be found , convicted in a good and timely trial and a message sent. For many it’s been a long and relaxing holiday . It is quite difficult to put resources in all places , I hope the children and mother are given the best care possible

WHEN are we going to get cameras island wide? That way when crime occurs, the police can be lead right to the culprits and catch them and collect their weapons immediately. It would lessen crime as well because they’d all be getting caught.

A long time ago we were dubbed ‘The Isles of Devils’ because of the racket made by endemic cahows and the fear they mistakenly instilled in passing sailors.
Looks like we’ve re-earned the title for a completely different reason.
