Where does the blame fall on the police ? You have "powers " over the establishments that sell alcohol , but yet still groceries stores still sell miniatures .By law it's your job to police this , but it still goes on . Recently , we had the Chief Magistrate removed from the head of the Alcohol Authority .I did not hear a out cry from the police . In fact the Head of the New Authority seems to want to make it easier to get temporary licenses . So we make it easier for people to find and buy alcohol , but just make it illegal for them to drive ! Now who is this helping, the police to find more work to do , or the bars to sell more alcohol ? It's certainly not helping the people who need help . We already have over 258 establishments that sell alcohol as of 2015 .Bermuda sells and consumes more alcohol per person than anywhere else on the face of the earth . And the authorities still don't think that we have a problem ! Bermudians love to drink . We need a Alcohol Commission in Bermuda .
