There is no blame to place on the police. Blame the legislators who can’t seem to regulate the taxi industry with any degree of usefulness.

Where does the blame fall on the police ? You have “powers ” over the establishments that sell alcohol , but yet still groceries stores still sell miniatures .By law it’s your job to police this , but it still goes on . Recently , we had the Chief Magistrate removed from the head of the Alcohol Authority .I did not hear a out cry from the police . In fact the Head of the New Authority seems to want to make it easier to get temporary licenses . So we make it easier for people to find and buy alcohol , but just make it illegal for them to drive ! Now who is this helping, the police to find more work to do , or the bars to sell more alcohol ? It’s certainly not helping the people who need help . We already have over 258 establishments that sell alcohol as of 2015 .Bermuda sells and consumes more alcohol per person than anywhere else on the face of the earth . And the authorities still don’t think that we have a problem ! Bermudians love to drink . We need a Alcohol Commission in Bermuda .
