The lions of today are just as dangerous as the ones faced in the bible and you may one day succumb to prosecution and or persecution for your faith.Someone made the comment that this movement is here to stay and they were correct.Your faith will now cease to be worn as a jacket to be put on and taken off when the going gets tough.Like many in the Pride movement true believers will now have to shed their cloaks too.Many will come few will be chosen the wheat will now be separated from the chaff.As they say in the street…..

If the right to marry the person of your choice is a “human” right then according to the Government of Bermuda we are NOT all human. And the Government is appealing to the Privy Council to be allowed to PREVENT some people from marrying the person of their choice. We are not “all” human in the eyes of our Government.

Your words and actions in expressing your “disagreement” supports a system of rhetoric that promotes issues against the LGBT community, physical, emotional, societal and systematic.
Demanding that people be treated as less than human and not worthy of equal access to rights, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, is bigoted. It is when it’s done based on race, it is when it’s based on gender, it is when it’s based on religion and it is when it’s based on orientation.

That’s why people point out that you’re homophobic. Because you are.

I agree with equality for all, what I don’t agree with is the LGBTQI community and those that support it all talk about LOVE but spue so much hate for us that don’t agree with your life choice. What you choose to do with your life is your business but Do Not call me and others scared (homophobic) or bigot’s because we do not agree with your lifestyle choice. And yes it is a choice!!! Science has not and won’t find the gay gene because it doesn’t exsist. Yes Love is a wonderful thing but don’t preach LOVE and then from the other corner of your mouth spue hate. Enjoy your parade but alot of us here in Bermuda don’t agree with homosexuality and that won’t change.

Because they think being gay is something you can choose not to be and that it’s all about sex
They won’t see it any other way because their church teaches them that, although oddly not all Christians teach this view
I respect their right to follow their beliefs but at some point they need to start realizing the tide has turned and it won’t be going back … so keep fighting or join
Also I might add,
They don’t realise the ones actually having all this sinful activity they worry about so much are their husbands and wives and um it’s not with them

Had there not been all of the anti Pride Parade noise does anyone think businesses would have come out so strong in support? A good thing.

The anti gay churches etc. have turned out to be their own worst enemy in encouraging support for the parade. Well deserved.
