As far as the road certification for these things go , I’ve always wondered too why gov’t didn’t get their hands on regulations for them from the beginning.
These things can , in most cases , easily keep up with traffic that’s doing 50k
But , on a side note, what makes this even worse is that 2 other guys came to the ‘aid’ of the perp and helped spirit him away.

It was an accident, but his behaviour makes me wonder if the electric pedal cycle was stolen or that the three men were involved in some sort of criminal activity. Why else would he/ they flee? I hope the child makes a full recovery.
