BTA continues to make press statements about funding these ventures but no statement of how many of the previous funded ventures are still functioning and is their ROI positive or negative?
The BTA should have taken a bold step and put this funding into a program too clean up and repair the historic sights that are visitor attractions. BTA will say it isn’t under their mandate to maintain visitor attractions but BTA has adopted a number of schemes and ventures, that are not under their mandate. BTA continues to ignore the obvious things that visitors expect to be maintained and/or provided too make their visit a memorable experience.
BTA loves to publicly promote their spending on ventures and schemes but declining air leisure arrivals indicate their spending isn’t producing positive results. Maybe BTA should have to go through an application process to get their funding too.
