It was actually government ministers, like Zane, pulling stunts, having his photo taken on cruise ships, encouraging visits when all knew it was a risk.
I wonder why the BTA bothers trying to keep Bermudians employed. Most are completely unappreciative of the effort.

BTA is obviously desperate. First, they were encouraging people to visit Bermuda during this pandemic. Now, they are encouraging the local population to go out for takeout, while the Gvt is telling people to stay home.
They are trying to justify their high salaries and the result is crazy ideas.
Shut down the BTA, place the staff on leave. These nonsensical ideas cause more harm than good.

Ordering takeout is supporting the jobs in the restaurant business. Seems like a good way to keep those working in that business employed for as long as possible.

Okay, so how is this supposed to be a good idea? I get the idea of supporting local restaurants and keeping people in their jobs, but even though the food may be delivered through contact-less delivery, there is still a possibility that someone preparing/ handling the food at the restaurant MAY have the virus, in which case, he or she would be infecting potentially dozens of customers, and we might see the number of cases rise dramatically after April 2.

So are we suppose to stay home or go pick up take out? The curfew makes no sense, nothing is open at night so no one is out anyway. But the line for carryout in the day where people are on top of each other, sure will help spread the virus.
