Good grief! It has taken PTB a week to come up with this.

Had this service been turned over to the operators of the mini buses it would be more comprehensive in routes & been in service days ago.

This is good news! also there are persons who are also nurses and caregivers in the community houses and homes who are also expected in to work and use the public transportation. Otherwise we can only imagine stressing out those who have transportation and families at home versus those who would be able to work accept there are no buses; and taxis can be expensive everyday.. just a thought because the elderly would then be at risk with a skeleton staff. Also the delivery of meals to those who are shut in at home without families or neighbours to bring their meals which are prepared according to their various conditions.

Does that mean any MWI staff who need transport will have to walk or miss work. Bermuda Hospitals Board includes MWI . We have Drs, nurses and workers who are impacted by BHB new policies concerning Covid-19.
