I was thinking the same thing! Ok, first of all the WHO came out to CLARIFY that as of today, April 25, 2020, there is no scientific evidence with this specific virus that supports the idea that herd immunity will work for any community. There is also no evidence proving one who has been infected cannot be reinfected.

Therefore, with our numbers continuing to rise in Bermuda, our frightening modelling “best case scenario” coupled with our tiny hospital and limited ICU beds, how does it make sense that we should exit lockdown in the near future?

It sounds like the Government is now doing a u-turn and giving up on trying to quash this virus completely and keeping our borders closed, which would permit us to all enjoy a notmal life again until a vaccine is discovered. Looks like they are looking to open the borders at some point. If you know the stats of our gateway cities, should we really be giving in so soon?

Use seriological tests to test 100% of Bermuda’s resident populatuon and isolate and quash this virus for good. Get your new cases down to zero for.two.weeks, cure the sick and have your lives back to normal.

commercial debt
Right off. debt
Hospital debt
Airport. debt
America cup debt

You do the numbers for the above ,don’t forget to add in interest on all the principal debt $
There is also loss of domestic and national income $

Now add all the money we had in hand before we went down ZERO

Government putting the nightmare scenario out there so they look good when we come nowhere close to those numbers. We have been an isolated island for well over a month now, so much different to other countries with loose borders.

Now is not the time for blatant electioneering. Next they’ll be saying that the failing economy is completely the fault of the pandemic, and nothing to do with their shambolic handling of our finances in the 2 years prior.

Disgraceful behavior.
