So , you aren’t happy with our already exorbitant taxes ? Payroll tax is too low for you ? Import duties too low for you ?
You like paying for the total fiscal ineptitude of the PLP ?
And how would this ‘wealth tax’ be determined ? How do you determine ‘wealth’ in Bermuda ? For Jinx and Scientist , anyone with $20 in their pocket is wealthy .
If you want to pay more than you already are only to see it diverted somewhere else and wasted then by all means feel free to do so.
The rest of us with a few functioning brain cells have already had enough and are well past tired of seeing our money become more and more worthless with each passing day. If you knew what percentage of each dollar we earn/spend now goes to Gov’t you’d probably rescind your great idea.

We should all be required to pay a 5% wealth tax until our debt to s paid off. With less debt we should have less worry about economic shocks and be able to provide additional services to Bermudians.
