No experience is necessary to own any boat, high powered or not, no license. Being able to afford a boat is the equivalent of boat handling training.

Higher powered boats being rented to “weekend boaters” that most likely have minimal experience. There are already enough non-boaters out there and now this will most likely add to that pool. Hopefully, there is a strong vetting process for being able to use the boats correctly.

It’s like fractal ownership or a timeshare. First book first get and blackouts during special events, holidays etc. it all looks good on paper until the dates you need are booked out!!
